We pinch-hit for product leaders who need capacity for defining product direction or actively building product fundamentals. Sometimes we’ll fill-in when a company has lost key product personnel or need help understanding the size and shape of a product a bit more before hiring a team. These engagements are typically structured around deliverables the company is working towards anyway or the hiring up of a permanent product leadership team.
We’ll add capacity or expertise by embedding with an existing team. Sometimes we add capacity to hone the fit and finish to an existing product while a primary team moves into a new product domain, embed in a team for a short-term customization for a specific client on an existing codebase, or lead early stage exploration/sprint to prototype effort that’s a little too risky to deploy an entire team. We can also use our collective to pull in other product builders in the case other disciplines are missing.
We advise or lead workshops to help you and your team de-risk an ongoing investment. We’ll mentor up-and-coming product builders that have stepped into a new set of responsibilities, put together skill-development plans, or be a thought-partner for product leaders.
